I received two of the longer benches today. I believe that this is only the second review that I have ever submitted. But I felt compelled after assembling it today as the bench far exceeded my expectations. First of all it was thoughtfully and well packaged with the minimal of packaging. The bench lid was unexpectedly well constructed with a solid aluminum frame topped with a synthetic decking material like ‘Trex’. The actual planter part was nicely machined with a flawless powder coat. It is nice to know that the bench top will likely wear as well as the aluminum box. Assembly was straightforward, but because of the size a bit awkward, and was made much easier with a second person helping. The final result is beautifully functional and pleasure to look at. I am glad that I committed to paying more for a storage solution that is so versatile. Looking forward to getting the second box assembled and out on the deck!
