I bought 2 pair of these for my grandchildren to wear when they go to the deer lease, and when feeding their farm animals. They are very well made and fit perfectly. I will definitely be buying these again when they out grow them.If these stand up to the test of time then I will buy them again. I live in SE Alaska, and we get a mixture of rain/slush/snow in the wintertime. I have been buying regular Kamik snowboots for my girls, and these were nice and warm. However, like other reviews, I found that the "waterproof" fabric top wasn't waterproof enough for our conditions (I don't think it is intended for puddle splashing). This year I was looking for something more practical, and was sold on these because my girls needed new rain boots also; in other words these killed 2 birds with one stone and saved me money. On arrival I was pleased at the thick and removable liner, but I did note that the boot part itself seems a little thinner than most rubber boots. This may not be a problem for you, but my kids destroy boots. They have went through 3 pairs of XtraTuffs and Northerners this year because they are outdoors a lot--hiking in the woods, playing on beaches, and climbing on boulders in our yard. Almost every type of rubber boots I have tried so far winds up getting slices in them from our rough terrain after about 2 months. The one exception is Crocs--they make a rubber boot that seems to be indestructible (I've passed pairs down through 3 children). The other good news is that if someone goes over their boot (as I'm sure your kids Never do...) you can wipe out the inside with a paper towel and it won't be damp.Anyhow, back to these particular boots. They do run a little big. My almost 7 year old was wearing tight 13s in her other Kamik snowboots and rain boots in general, so I bought her a 1, which was HUGE. I wound up keeping the 1 and buying the 13, which still leaves her room to grow. They are cozy and keep both my girls feet warm, and the kids love the designs at the top (we have a black and purple and a pinkish pair). Sometimes the liners get messed up inside and crinkle funny, causing complaints when this happens (it has happened about 5 or 6 times since we bought them). We have had the boots about 3 weeks now and they are holding up well so far, but the kids haven't been to the beach or in the woods recently. If they hold up I will buy them in future years, but I wouldn't pay over $30 for them (there were huge price increases on these after I bought the first round, so I am just warning you).I'll try to update as time goes on.My daughter's feet grew three sizes in 6 months, so I was quite hesitant to spend more than $20 on a pair of boots that could potentially only last a couple of months. After not finding a cheaper boot that met my daughters needs, I decided to go with these. What sold me on the boots, besides the great reviews, is the ability to take out the liner. I figure when the weather gets warmer, I can take out the liner, which will hopefully add more space as her feet grow. I am sure glad I made the purchase. My daughter loves these boots! From the day she received them, she's wanted to wear them every day. Just a few days after they arrived, it snowed and these boots kept her feet warm and dry. They are study, but not too bulky or heavy. It's been about a month since she's received the boots and she still tells me she's glad I got them for her. They are completely waterproof, great for the snow, and the adjustable strap at the top helps to keep the snow out. My guess is that I will be purchasing these boots every year until my daughter is old enough to pick out her own boots, and maybe even after that. My daughter is 2 1/2 and her feet are in between sizes 7 1/2 and 8. I ordered an 8, which fits her perfectly with the liner. It just doesn't get any better than these boots!! I got a pair of the same brand, in the Snobuster style as well for my oldest daughter and she wore them for 2 years in a row. Now my middle daughter is wearing the same pair handed-down and they show virtually no signs of wear! This is because of the synthetic rubber with nearly one piece construction. This blue and black pair is for my mud-loving middle son (a 4 year old, size 10 toddler shoes, size 5t clothes-- Ordered size 11 boots) and he is loving that they keep his feet warm and dry and I am loving how easy they are to clean-- just rinse off the outside! For a great pair of rain And snow boots in one, look no further than this brand and style out of Canada. Between $21.- $40. depending on the size and They Are Worth It. I have Already ordered a smaller pair in another color for my 18 month old! They are easier to walk in than most winter boots because they are lighter and the sole is more flexible. <3 We will be buying more for the rest of our kids for next winter. :) ((Side Note: I'd order a size up as they do seem to fit perfect that way - they run a tad small (11 was as long as my son's size 10 shoes) and have a liner as well.))Warm, waterproof and sturdy describes these boots. Living on a farm in the winter means lots of wet, cold and dirty encounters with the outdoors. My two and a half year old loves to "help" and so needed boots to keep his feet warm, and dry. They also needed to be easy to wash. These have fit that need perfectly. They have kept his feet toasty warm at temps in the lower teens and single digits. Being rubber, they are fully waterproof to the top of the boot, and that also means they are easy to clean. The outside can be sprayed and he can put them right back in with no time needed for drying. So far there has been no trouble with the liner slipping out when he takes off the boots. It is removable, but we've had no need to take it out. The boots are roomy so that may change later. He is normally a size 8, but we bought a 10. They have extra room, but not so much that they are clumsy to wear.We have not needed to use the snow gaiter yet, so I can't say anything about that.I would definitely recommend these if you are in search of a practical, warm, waterproof boot.I really love these, and highly recommend them. Toddlers get snow in every crevace, and once conventional boots are wet, small feet get cold and your planned adventure is over. However the draw string top keeps the snow out. I anticipate getting good value for money out of them as I bought them big to wear with thick socks, so should be able to use them next year as snow-boots, and perhaps for an even longer period as wellies with the warm liners removed. Also - my huge thanks to Amazon for great customer service. There was a glitch with my first order so it didn't go through. They kindly couriered the repeat order to me free of charge at top speed to arrive in time for our holiday.Excellent boot. Very warm (in Canadian winters), fits well, and waterproof. In spring, when I plan to take out the lining, it will be several sizes too large, but that's to be expected, so it isn't really a multi-season boot. But perfect for winter (down to about -30 Celsius). Easy for my three-year-old to put on himself.Normally I love these boots for my kids. They have always lasted more than a year. (Which is phenomenal when it comes to my son's boots) Any these particular boots i got my daughter got a hole in them after just 3 months of use. I thought about returning them but we were in the middle of a move.We purchased 2 pairs, different sizes. Both grandsons love them. They see warm, water resistant and light weight. Our boys are 7 and 3 years old. We have purchased Kamik boots from Amazon for the past 5 years. They are great!Love these! They're very light and can be worn as winter boots for a season and then when their feet get bigger, you can take out the liner and they can be rainboots. My son loves them and so far they've been warm enough in -0 temps.
