Overall a good little grill for taking places. Or if you just have a small amount of food to cook it is great!We use it for that. Instead of using the big grill, we just sometimes have a couple of steaks or chicken breast to cook, it is wonderful for that. Easy to use and the food comes out great.It came packaged very nicely. We have used it a few times. Cooked 4 hamburgers on it while camping. Hubby was looking at thermometer on outside and telling me they weren’t cooking. When I finally checked, they were overcooked! Don’t rely on the thermometer. It doesn’t work. Put plenty of charcoal in it!For meProduct is okWorks well enough and is quite small. Great for two people camping. The grill has flimsy air ports and the stays for the lid constantly fall off. But... It does the job well in all other aspects.I looked for a small grill to replace my old 14-inch round grill, for grilling food for two people.The grill was easy to assemble and there was no missing parts and fasteners.I like the removable divider in the bottom for charcoal and wood chips for smoking.This grill easily heated-up to 300 degrees with the lid down, using a minimal amount of charcoal.I had good results, and I use a food thermometer to grill meats perfectly.I'm going to have a lot of fun using this grill this Summer!I recommend this grill if a small grill suits one's needs.I bought this because I have an outdoor gas firepit with artificial logs that really looks nice, but does not smell like a real wood fire. I tried finding incense sticks that would smell like real smoke, but they were all too "perfumey" for my taste. So, I bought this grill to burn charcoal and wood chips beside the gas firepit for the smell of real smoke. It works better than the incense sticks, but still not quite the same as a real fire. I guess there are always tradeoffs we have to make. I guess I could cook something on it, and I cannot do that with the firepit very easily. I don't think this is what it was intended for, so maybe all I am accomplishing is getting Amazon to stop asking me to rate it.I have tried this only once, to char 6 ears of corn. The recipe said the corn would char in 10-12 minutes. This grill took 40 minutes. The corn WAS cold to begin with, and maybe 6 ears were crowded, but I filled more than a layer of charcoal and it still took too long. I will try to grill again and revise my review if I get better results.Bought this keeping in mind we are going away winter camping.Have not cooked on them yet. Did the installation and was easy to install. Easy to carry. Handle helps to carry arround. Instructions are clear. Hope it is durable. Will update once we cook on them. So far good ?This is a great little BBQ. Nothing fancy, great heat distribution perfect for the beach etc.I would of given 5 stars but the retaining metal rods linking the base to the lid are not fixed and fall outVery easy to set up. Very compact and decent weight and fits perfectly in the boot. Have done 2 bbq and its perfect for 2 people. Really happy and very easy to clean. Doesn't take much room in storage aswell.Brilliant. Need to put something in garden now for inclement weather as this bbq is so easy to set upReasonable size grill, sturdy enough.
