This rug is very thin and looks like it came from the Dollar Store. Don't let the picture fool you.The rugs is very thin and it crunches when you try to walk on it. I will most likely try to return it.I would not have picked this rug out in a store. It is overpriced and not soft. The fibers are a little unpleasant. I'm not super happy with the quality, especially with the high price tag.My daughter wanted this for her dorm room; they have tile in the dorm and her feet were cold. She's home for the summer and has started to use this in her room to flatten it out-- it has flattened out mostly, but it IS uncomfortable and itchy and she really doesn't like it. Twice she's asked me to look out for another one, please, since this one is such poor quality.It is difficult to vacuum since it's so thin, the vacuum starts sucking up the whole rug; you really have to figure out the vacuum technique make sure you don't linger over the edges. the cats have taken to picking it up at the sides and using the back to scratch (they don't do this with ANY OTHER RUGS). It's not great quality.I'd pass and look for something else.I wactually have an Artistic Weavers rug in my living room that I absolutely love! So when I needed one for my bedroom I figured they would be perfect. But unfortunately this particular one wasn’t as nice as I expected from the brand.First, it’s kind of a scratchy material, not soft and luxurious feeling at all. Second, it’s thin, much thinner than the other rug I have from the brand. And 3rd, the fibers are far apart, like awkwardly so.Now don’t get me wrong. for the price this isn’t a horrible rug, it’s just not as nice as I had hoped it would be. It’s still a decent quality and seams like it would hold up well. Though my stick vacuum does not like this rug, and it’s the first thing I have ever found that my stick vacuum doesn’t work well on. Overall it’s ok for the price point.I got this product a week back for my living room. The size is perfect for my area and extends well to both the legs of my couch. The color is exactly as it is looks in the photos and the rug has a nice soft plush touch.The rug was rolled up when it arrived and I had a hard time unrolling it. I laid it flat and after a week, it still has a lot of wrinkles. I'll see for another week or two or would try something else then.This rug is not that shaggy though as it looks in the photos but I guess that's subjective. If you like more traditional styles then you should be good with it. If not, this rug might not meet your expectations.I will rate this 4 stars for now. Will update if I have further feedback about the wrinkles.This Artistic Weavers Solid Plush Blissful Shag Area Rug is a beautiful neutral color rug. The fabric feels and looks "okay" after a bit of fluffing but it is really difficult to vacuum and get dirt and hair out of it. The shag seems to pull up into the vacuum cleaner even at the lightest level of suction. It requires a vacuum cleaner that was a really high setting height-wise. I like the rug and its appearance but I am not sure how well this rug will wear over time because of the extra effort required to keep it clean. If you have an adjustable height vacuum cleaner with a shag setting, this rug could be a good fit for you.It's a nice looking and feeling rug but the pile is a tad thin. When looking across the carpet you can clearly see each row and the backing. It really deters from what otherwise should be a very nice accent to any room.I didn’t like it was rolled up backwards with carpet on the inside of the roll. Shoulda been rolled with carpet visible on the outside. Now I need weights to hold down the corners etc
